President Javier Milei celebrated on Tuesday the data on wholesale inflation, which slowed for the second consecutive month, and praised Economy Minister Luis Caputo. The head of state dedicated the post to the head of the Ministry of Economy and considered him "by far, the best economy minister in Argentine history." He wrote on social media X: "Toto, por lejos, el mejor ministro de economÃa de la historia argentina. TMAP". The National Institute of Statistics and Censuses (INDEC) released the wholesale price index (IPIM) for February. The results showed a slowdown compared to January: it was 1.7% and accumulated, in twelve months, 25.6%.
